what i love about the weekend

love love love...
the weekends.

wearing my pjs until noon
no homework no school no work...just a little family spending quality time together...ahhhhhhhhh

my green creations

create...
so, as you know i try to live a green life.  as i create and work on different art projects i try to figure out ways to use things i would normally throw in the trash.  i save all sorts of cool things that i come across and stash them away in a box.  about a month ago i pulled out the box and started to create!!  oh my goodness it was fun, i even used an old sewing machine my mom gave me (i have no clue how to sew, but it was fun.

i am thinking about being somewhere warm. 

somewhere relaxing and far away from the cold and darkness of alaska. 

a place to ride a bike and shop at the farmers market

and place my lovely finds in the front basket. 

a place to walk in the sun and listen to my favorite music on my iphone.  a place to relax and read a great book.

a good monday...

today was a good monday despite the continuing snowfall.  i made it to lowes to pick up the paint for my tables.  so excited!!!!  i got a facial and it was so relaxing.  i found another furniture project that i will share with you later!!!!  love love my mondays off...i feel so revived.

the table is primed!!!!

the anthro hardware is ready to go and the orange platter is the color inspiration!!!!

a new find and a new project...

yay!!!!!  a new project!!!!! here it is... a pair of great little side tables from the 1960's. i am all ready to bring these beauty's back to life with some great paint and amazing hardware.
