my daughter and i soaking up the sunshine at our favorite ski resort in alaska!  it was only about 20 degrees but the sun was oh so warm!!  i am soooooooo ready for spring!!!!!!

next week is spring break so we are taking a few days off and headed to our favorite place in alaska!!!! 

so ready for some down time!!!!

when winter hits i find myself in hibernation mode until spring!!  this weekend the sun came out and so did i!!!

monday loves...glee

i don't know where i have been, but i totally missed the glee craze until now!!!!!  i love musicals and can't seem to get enough of this one.  i watched the first two seasons on netflix and have downloaded a few of the songs from iTunes.  if you have not seen it i highly recommend it, and if you love it too, who is your favorite character??  

i love them all, but if i had to choose one it would be miss brittney s. pears!!!!!  she makes me laugh and she is incredibly talented!!!!

i know i live in alaska, but its rare for us to get this much snow in one year.  its the most i have seen in over 10 years.  now that its march i hope the snow will end and the sunshine will start to melt it.

my husband only has a birthday every 4 years, so we had a little party with lots of laughs and his favorite cherry chip cupcakes with cherry frosting and some cheesecake!!!

the days are getting longer here in alaska!!!!  i love it!!!  i am so ready for spring i can't hardly stand it.  the first morning light arrives just before 8am and the evening dims around 7pm.  i can't wait to wake up with the sun in my eyes!!
